ariel being white has absolutely nothing to do with the little mermaid story. her race does not impact the story one bit, so you cant use the argument “well what if we made tiana from princess and the frog white? making ariel black is no different!” bc actually, it is. tiana’s story is GREATLY impacted by her being a black woman trying to own a business in the old times. you cant use that argument with mulan, you can’t that argument with pocahontas, you can’t use that argument with moana, bc their culture is quite literally a very big part of their story. thats the tea luv ariel is black
